Research

Our research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of quantum materials with unusual electronic, magnetic, and topological properties. By combining crystal growth, solid-state chemistry, structural analysis, and physical-property measurements, we study how atomic structure, chemical composition, defects, and dimensionality influence emergent quantum behavior. Our work covers a broad range of material systems, including intermetallic compounds, layered van der Waals materials, magnetic quantum materials, and topological systems, with the aim of discovering new functionalities for energy-efficient technologies, spintronics, and future quantum devices.
